Gentian Root Extract Powder is a kind of Chinese traditional herbal medicine, It is mainly distributed in northern of China.Gentian Root Extract Powder is coming from gentian scabra root and rhizomes.

This powder is an excellent bitter and coldnature. It can stimulate the appetite and digestion and can removeheat in liver and satisfy the stomach. Gentian Root Extract Powder has been used for loss of appetite and stomach upset (indigestion). Having the efficacy of tonifying the heart and spleen and nourishing the blood to calm the mind, longan aril is an effective tonic usually administered for insufficiency of qi and blood due to impairment of the heart and spleen resulting from overstrain, manifested as palpitation, amnesia and insomnia. Applied individually, it can be decocted or steeped in hot water to be taken orally to cure deficiency of qiand blood in the old and the weak during their convalescence.

Physiological Functions

1. Gentian root extract has been used for loss of appetite and stomach upset (indigestion).
2. Gentian root extract is an effective tonic usually administered for insufficiency of qi and 
blood due to impairment of the heart and spleen resulting from overstrain, manifested as palpitation, amnesia and insomnia.
3. Gentian root extract is effective to red eyes and dizziness, swollen or deaf ears, bitter mouth and body side ache, throat swelling and pain and so on.
4. Gentian root extract has been used for hardening of liver, liver cancer. In case of yinxu, use raw bai zhu plus other herbs according to diagnostics.

Applications

1. Used to treat viral myocarditis and kidney diseases, it can be made into tablet, capsule,granules and conventional injection;
2. Inhibiting the hepatitis B virus, making into tablet, capsule and other models.
