Product Introduction
Purple Sweet Potato Red Pigment, a purely natural edible and water-soluble pigment, is extracted from purple sweet potato that, and is rich in anthocyanin and flavonoids, which assign the pigment with health maintenance functions such as ant oxidation, anti inflammation, precaution disease and so on. It is easily dissolved in water and alcohol water solutions. This natural edible pigment is fit for dyeing or complementary color of food and drinks, medicine, health products, cosmetics, textile and toys etc.
Physiological Functions
The color of Purple Sweet Potato Red Pigment solution won't fade under light; also, it can resistant to high temperature in the acidic medium. Its color in water solution changes when PH is different. When PH is between2-6, the color is ranging from red to purple red. The solution color becomes blue and unstable when PH is above 6, and while it is used in alkaline condition, the color becomes to purple-blue.
