More than 50 kinds of Gynostemma saponins have been isolated from Gynostemma pentaphyllum, and like ginsenosides, they belong to the tetracyclic triterpenoid saponins. Gynostemma saponins and ginsenoside Rb1, Rb3, Rd, F2 are the same , Gynostemma saponin V-AH is the same as ginsenoside Rg3, Gynostemma saponin I is enzymatically decomposed to obtain ginsenoside K. Ginsenoside K can be obtained by pharmacological and clinical decomposition. |
